Tetris 99 is a game released through the Nintendo Switch Online service, based around battle royale-style play.
Overview
The game currently contains a single mode, Tetris 99. In this mode, the aim is to survive as long as possible among all 99 players.
Gameplay
The mode is garbage-based, with the player being able to send garbage to other players.
The player can earn badges from knocking out other players. Knocking out players with badges will cause the player to receive some (all?) of their badges. Collecting badges will increase the player's attack power.
As players get knocked out, the piece falling speed increases, eventually reaching 1G.
