Badges are simple graphics placed on a specific and registered user's userpage or player card signifying that user's achievements. Most badges are timestamped with the format "Month/Day/Year, Hour/Minute/Second AM\PM" readable after hovering over the badge. However, in the rare case that a moderator adds a timestamped badge manually, the badgeholder will end up with a rare badge without a timestamp.[2][3] Badges are ordered from left to right, and in some cases only found in the standalone TETRA CHANNEL site, top to bottom from the date they were achieved. For example, if one were to get the Secret Grade badge before INFDEV ended, then got a 20TSD badge, the badges would be ordered "Secret Grade->INFDEV->20TSD". This ordering scheme ignores the lack of a timestamp, as demonstrated on user ANIMECAKE's profile[4]
Obtainable badges
Ordered chronologically based off the time they were added to the game, here is a collection of all the badges any brand-new registered account can obtain without moderator or admin intervention. These are still obtainable after the release of Beta, which deprecated three of the most obtained badges.
Number 1

This badge is automatically awarded to any player confirmed to have beat the current world record in 40 LINES, BLITZ, or Quick Play through a strict replay validation protocol involving every input being played back serverside alongside the exact RNG seed to ensure the run wasn't hacked.[citation needed]
- The current 40 Lines world record has a time of 0:13.430 and was ran by WESTL.[5]
- The current Blitz record is 2,417,435 points and was scored by LEMTEXILE.[6]
- Quick Play records reset weekly, and only the immediate World Record holder at the end of the week receives a badge. Players are eligible to receive a badge from both normal and Expert brackets.
The leaderboards were blank at the start of INFDEV, meaning during INFDEV a few #1 badgeholders got the TETR.IO world record badge with subpar times and scores. The leaderboards were also reset at the start of the Alpha phase on March 22, 2020, meaning theoretically, the first players to login, start, and finish a single Blitz run would get this badge as well.[citation needed]
This was the second badge players could obtain without moderator or admin intervention, and was the only one before the 0.4.2 update,[7] until the Secret Grade badge was added.
As of December 5, 2020, 19 players possess this badge.[8] Only 17 more players, some who had earned the badge by way of the 5,000,000 Blast competition, had gained this badge in between the three years that led to February 13, 2023. By then, 36 total players had earned the badge.[1] The first player to obtain this badge was VinceHD_,[9] and can be hovered over on his TETRA CHANNEL Userpage[3]. The timestamp is relatively recent due to VinceHD_ having remade his account on September 12, 2020.
KO'd Founder

The exact date this badge was added is tough to nail down from the patchnote page alone as there is no release detailing a new secret aside from the previously covered badges. This badge was likely added somewhere during the release of 4.0.0 on July 22, 2020[10] to June 25, 2020, as the earliest known instance of this badge, being on user SWOMP's profile[4] was obtained then. To achieve this badge is self-explanatory, one must KO osk, who incidentally happens to be the founder of TETR.IO[5], in any online mode. There are also several conditions:
- The only qualifying user to KO is osk. One may not attain this badge by KO'ing Co-Founder Kagari.
- "Indirect KO", "Direct KO", or "Spike KO" all count as long as the player gets credit for the kill.
- If one happens to match up against osk in the Tetra League, only one round is needed to obtain the badge, not the entire set.
- osk themselves cannot obtain the badge by topping themself out, as when a user tops-out without anyone sending them garbage, the "killer" is internally defined as "null", therefore the system would attempt to award user "null" with the badge, and not user "osk".[citation needed]
osk usually goes on the dev servers or private testing with personal friends to test TETR.IO features out when they aren't developing TETR.IO. osk also used to be found in Quick Play (now known as Royale) after planned server maintenance for a few rounds. Supposedly, osk could sometimes be found when popular Twitch channels streamed TETR.IO, and if the streamer runs a public custom room, then osk may join in for a few rounds.[citation needed] The TETRA CHANNEL's Tetra News section and TETRA CHANNEL API's "All Latest News" call can signal activity when the badge is awarded to a player at a specific moment. Most requests for 1v1's via Discord, Twitter, E-Mail, GitHub reports, or messages through ingame chat are ignored.
In the event that osk is in a 3+ player "Battle Royale" one might attempt to play the "targeting meta", mousing over every board to find osk's player board, then choose between the four targeting modes. If the host has the "Allow Manual Targeting" option set to "ON", one may click on osk's board to set them as the manual target.
As of December 5, 2020, 245 players have KO'd osk at least once since this badge has existed.[8] Continuing onto March 7, 2022, only 306 more badges were awarded, making a total of 551 badges.[11] This rate slowed into the February 13, 2023, where, as told by the founder himself, only 674 players total had received the badge.[1] The very first recorded occurrence of this badge is on user SWOMP's profile.[6][9] Several notable exemptions have been made to the above process of obtaining the badge. During the "closed testing" period of the Tetra League, where access was limited to supporters and users with the INFDEV badge, players preserved image proof of them KO'ing osk before this badge existed. Due to images being relatively verifiable as they were posted months beforehand in unedited posts on the TETR.IO Discord server, there were a total of two cases of a moderator giving a player this badge manually, and both players hold a badge without a timestamp.[2][3]
Super Lobby

This badge has a history associated with it, having its roots in Tetris 99. After the game's 2.0.0 update adding its Invictus mode in September 2019, Games Done Quick had a Tetris 99 portion in their GDQx 2019 event, where Hard Drop owner Blink would play a few rounds of Invictus mode, encouraging viewers on Twitch to snipe him live with their own copy of Tetris 99.[12] After this, notable player and streamer Tafokints wanted to gather all the top players into an Invictus room, where it would be easier for players to queue into the same room. This took place on October 26, 2019,[13] in what would be the first official Super Lobby, although it wasn't called a Super Lobby until the following month, where Hard Drop announced that the Tetris 99 Super Lobbies would be a monthly event.[14] Later on, Hard Drop would eventually organize a TETR.IO Super Lobby, first during the Hard Drop Open XXI, and later on as its own standalone monthly event with a unique badge for the winners.
The Hard Drop Super Lobby brought in a demand for lots of optimizations regarding huge TETR.IO rooms, as many players were simply lagging out of these rooms due to a couple of reasons.[citation needed] Shortly after the first Hard Drop Super Lobby, which was canceled midway through for technical difficulties, "Super Lobby Mode" was revealed on the 5.2.2 patch,[15] introducing extra important animations and performance enhancements whenever any room had more than 100 players playing in it. The 6.0.3 patch confirms this badge as being added on March 16, 2021.[16] This makes it the second badge to have been directly named in the patchnotes, the first of which being the Number 1 badge.
To obtain this badge, all one needs to do is to win a match with over 100 players (excluding spectators). Rooms qualified for Super Lobby Mode have unique animations surrounding it, including rotating each board in a large "3D dome"-like environment and the amount of players playing shown in a large cut-in alongside special fanfare not normally played. A special system message will be published to room chat shown to all current and future members of the room when a room reaches enough players to be a Super Lobby.
The first player to officially emerge victorious in a generic TETR.IO Super Lobby was CABOOZLED_PIE, exactly one hour and thirty-five minutes after the announcement that the badge was available made via the patch notes.[17] As of March 7, 2022, up to 1,839 players have won at least one TETR.IO Super Lobby.[11] Despite its release date, this badge is still the third most obtained badge with 2,572 owners, as of February 13, 2023[1]
KO'd by Founder

Similarly to its original namesake, the badge is simple in concept and execution, yet relies on extraneous lobby conditions to receive. While theoretically more common than the opposing badge since osk can KO multiple players in one game, the conditions for who osk targets are less controllable. Because of this and its recent release date (on May 23, 2022), this badge is currently very rare. To attain the badge one must be KO'd by osk, who incidentally happens to be the founder of TETR.IO[7], in any online mode.
It is unknown what target method osk uses in a free-for-all match, thus having osk target a certain player relies heavily on luck. One could potentially stall while scanning other boards for osk's username, and if incoming garbage is received near the area, topping out could award the badge due to counting as an "Indirect KO".
osk has KO'd 158 unique players as of February 13, 2023.[1]
Discontinued badges
With the release of Beta on July 26th, 2024,[18] three badges previously attainable in 40 Lines, as well as Custom for Secret Grade, became inaccessible. They were replaced by Achievements, with unchanged obtain requirements. Some achievements track more information, such as clear time or player position compared to all players with the achievement.
Secret Grade

This was the very first badge players could obtain without moderators or admins manually adding it, being added on February 9, 2020 alongside the 0.2.2 update.[19] This was one of the easiest badges to obtain. To obtain it, one must build a Secret Grade pattern in any online or solo mode that doesn't have undos, such as Zen or a custom room's Practice mode. Solo Custom games configured to have no gravity, or no line limit, or over 20 board height will still be accepted for the badge, and are a popular way to complete the achievement. TETR.IO checks for certain criteria when deciding whether or not a board follows the Secret Grade pattern:
- The pattern is a ">" shape and not a "<" shape, hinted at with the design of the badge icon.
- Rows 1-19 are fully filled except for the defining diagonal holes in the pattern itself.
- The leftmost block on row 20 is filled.
If the requirements above are satisfied, topping out, running the clock out in timed objective modes, or finishing the lines cleared requirement will end the game and show the confirmation pop-up. Thus Secret Grade runs done in 40 Lines or Blitz can be uploaded as public replays.
As of December 5, 2020, 2,075 players held this badge.[8] As of March 7, 2022, coinciding with the publication of 5,000,000 BLAST, up to 9,173 players had the badge.[11] Information pertaining to the total number of owners was further publicized on February 13, 2023, where there were revealed to be 13,870 issues of the badge, making Secret Grade the first badge to have its owner count with over five digits.[1] The first player to historically have this badge is OMIO9999,[9] and can be viewed on their TETRA CHANNEL Userpage[8]. Upon the release of Beta, live information of the total achievement count can be found in-game or on TETRA CHANNEL.[9]
10PC

Previously the third obtainable badge added to the game, this badge was added on June 2, 2020 alongside the 3.1.0 update.[20] To have received it, one must clear ten All Clears in one 40 Lines run. This was the second rarest obadge one could obtain without moderator or admin intervention, followed by the Number 1 badge. Unlike Jstris's PC Mode, players are allowed to place above the fourth row without invalidating the run, allowing for DPC loops to be used when accompanied with 2-line PCs. Due to the overall popularity of this badge, former world record holder for TETR.IO's Blitz and Jstris's PC Mode[21] JimothyJimothy made a specialized site with a specific section titled "10 PC Guide". The only conditions the game checks for when validating a run are:
- The run was played in 40 Lines.
- The replay was verified and submitted to online servers.
- The run ended with greater than or equal to 10 All Clears.
Additionally, the run doesn't need to finish on an All Clear, letting 2-line PCs form leeway for other methods of finishing.
As of December 5, 2020, only 146 players had gotten the badge.[8] As of March 7, 2022, only 743 players had gotten the badge.[11] The badge reached over 1000 total issues sometime before February 13, 2023, when it was revealed 1,395 players had gotten the badge.[1] The first player to get this badge is Caboozled_Pie, hosting the oldest issue of the badge on his TETRA CHANNEL Userpage.[10][9]
20TSD

20TSD is currently the last Solo badge to be added, being a response to persistent calls for a "20TSD" mode similar to the one found in Jstris.[citation needed] This badge was added on September 28, 2020 with the announcement of the 5.0.0 update.[22] Soon afterwards, someone guessed the exact URL used for the 20TSD badge graphic due to how popular the request was at the time.[citation needed] The objectives for this badge to be awarded were:
- The run was played in 40 Lines.
- The replay was verified and submitted to online servers.
- The replay ended with 20 T-Spin Doubles and no other types of line clears.
- A "T-Spin Double" may be either a full or Mini line clear, and the final sum of both must equal 20. E.g. one Mini T-Spin Double plus 19 T-Spin Doubles would still net the badge.
Many players "cheese" this with setups such as Mechanical TSD v3 or Reliable TSD into Mechanical TSD v2, allowing repeated memorized T-Spin Doubles. Other popular methods include LST stacking or freestyling without sticking to any designated pattern.
As of December 5, 2020, 449 players had attained the badge.[8] On March 7, 2022, 4,062 players had attained the badge.[11] On February 13 2023, 7,595 players hade attained the badge, making it the second most obtained badge.[1] The first person to obtain this badge is RZA,[9] and can be viewed on their TETRA CHANNEL Userpage.[23][24]
Exclusive badges
Similarly to the "obtainable badges", these "exclusive badges" are also layed out from left to right and in some cases top to bottom. These are standard badges that are notable for requiring a moderator or administrator to manually add them from the admin panel.
Miscellaneous
Most of these badges are given out based on the badgeholder's account age, although there are a few exceptions.
Founder

This badge has existed since the beginning of TETR.IO, and is presumably the very first badge to exist. It signifies the badgeholder is the creator of the game.
As of current, only two players have the Founder badge.[1] The first of which is osk and can be viewed on their userpage[11]. The second badge holder is user KAGARI and can be viewed on her userpage[12]. Despite the badge having the same Founder design, if hovered over, the tooltip will reveal the badge's text as "Co-Founded TETR.IO" instead.
INDEV

The INDEV development phase likely began on February 19, 2019[25] and ran until the start of the INFDEV phase on January 31, 2020.[26] During it, close friends would test TETR.IO privately while osk geared up for a more public release. It's likely this badge also existed before the Number 1 badge, however these badges lack a timestamp.
As of February 13, 2023, there are 7 INDEV badgeholders.[1] Even though this badge was added to every INDEV tester at the same time, user GEBRUIKERSNAAM[13] was likely the technical first due to his User ID.[9]
INFDEV

Similar to the INDEV badge, this badge was given out to every account registered from the start of INFDEV on January 31, 2020,[26] to the end of INFDEV and the enabling of fully public account creation on March 22nd, 2020.[27]
This is also the first badge to give badgeholders special access to something regular players couldn't without paying for the Supporter role on osk's Patreon. Specifically, before the Tetra League was public for all to access, it was limited to players with the INFDEV badge and Supporters.[28] Two weeks later, the Tetra League was made available to the general public.[29]

In the blog post that started off this development phase, there was already an INFDEV icon long before the badge was released. This logo would eventually be polished and end up as the finished badge graphic.
As of February 13, 2023, there were 2,126 former INFDEV testers with the badge,[1] two more than when the first badge values were revealed.[8] Similarly to the INDEV badge, the technical first was likely user GEBRUIKERSNAAM[14]. User flash[15] was the technical first non-INFDEV tester to have the badge.
P.O.O.P.

The P.O.O.P. badge is an inside joke left at its logical end. A search for "poop badge" on the TETR.IO Discord shows the first public reference coming from moderator alcazar#0078 demanding a "POOP BADGE" for AmijoKaegger#8277 with a ping towards osk#9999 on June 14, 2020. One day later, AmijoKaegger#8277, also known as AnimeCake, would make the announcement that the P.O.O.P. badge had arrived, then would follow up a day later with picture evidence of the badge, confirming its existence on June 16, 2020 as the badge lacks a timestamp. The name of the badge is an acronym, standing for "Pioneer Of Our Place", being given to AnimeCake for being the "first ever player on TETR.IO" as explained on its hover text. Only one person has obtained this badge, and it likely falls under the "Other badges" category on the badge sheet.[8]
Huge Supporter

This badge was confirmed to exist sometime before December 4, 2020,[9] when user Zudo#0800 made a public request for ingame user Archina's information with Hiyajo Maho#2356's ">tetr" command on the TETR.IO Discord server. Zudo was a Supporter at the time, so a rolling theory explains that osk may have tipped off Supporters in the exclusive #supporter-lounge channel leading up to when the command was utilized.[citation needed] This badge was first given to user Archina[16] for an unknown amount of donations.[9] Archina was a supporter at the time, and is included in the special thanks section of TETR.IO.
Arisa Ichigaya is the second known player to receive the Huge Supporter badge. Unlike Archina's badge, this badge came with a local news announcement. Arisa Ichigaya would go on to recreate their account on July 18, deleting the badge as well.
Starting December 25, 2020, only one player had this badge. Most likely categorized under "Other badges" on the badge list,[8] the badge itself can be viewed on Archina's userpage[17]. Parallel to his userpage, beginning on December 20, 2021, top members on TETR.IO's Special Thanks section in the CONFIG menu, a list sorted by total amount spent on TETR.IO Supporter, also recieved it. As of writing only three new badges exist in this form. They can be viewed on the userpages of either BARHO, RINSE, or ZUDO. These badges are added real-time as soon as a member passes an unknown cutoff for total support, measured in TETR.IO's CONFIG. The latter of these members, user ZUDO, had confirmed that this cutoff surpasses at least one thousand euros.[30]
Early Supporter

The Early Supporter badge was automatically awarded to every registered user who had subscribed to osk's Patreon page regardless of amount donated, before the 6.0.0 update on January 31, 2021.[31] This badge exists due to the platform switch osk underwent, swapping Patreon out for an ingame system backed by the oskVault, which is currently powered by Xsolla.[32] Ingame rewards also received a price cut. Specifically, the "Deca tier" costed 10 euros a month, but now the ingame rewards only cost 5 pounds a month (4 pounds a month if bought in bulk or gifted to another user).
The badge itself is modeled to resemble the Greek symbol, as Patreon was used and subsequently replaced during TETR.IO's Alpha period.
As of February 13, 2023, 354 users held this badge.[1] It is likely user GEBRUIKERSNAAM was the technical first, and can be viewed on his userpage[18].
Bug Bounty

This badge is TETR.IO's cost-effective way of rewarding players who find harmful bugs in TETR.IO which may be abused by potential bad actors and responsibly report the exploit directly to osk through appropriate communication channels without abusing the reported issue for personal gain or publicizing potential exploits others may abuse.[19] Such exploits may involve forms of arbitrary code execution, which could allow running code on a target's machine to gain unauthorized access to their TETR.IO account, or sending maliciously created data to the TETR.IO servers rendering all connected clients softlocked or crashed, or causing the servers to be temporarily offline.
Historically, of the few users to have obtained this badge, several additional perks have also followed the badge. Such as:
- A variable duration of ingame TETR.IO Supporter, free of charge, gifted by osk himself.
- According to Discord user "Тhе buttег mаn bоbi#4190", the pay for his found exploits totaled up to three years of supporter.[33] TETR.IO Supporter is valued at 4 euros per month when gifted, thus BOBI got €144 worth of Supporter.
- The exclusive "Contributor" role on the TETR.IO Discord server.[33]
These special game-breaking bugs do not show up often in TETR.IO. The bounty badge was added on June 27, 2021, however the badge was retroactively given to user SZY for reporting an exploit during INFDEV, before this badge existed. At least ten users hold this bounty,[34] of which eight are known. In chronological sequence, these users are BOBS, SZY, MANABENDER, KAMINARI14, ZUDO, AZURAHORIZONS, OPYUWUWU, and ALHANALEM.
Competition Badges
This section goes into detail regarding TETR.IO's many officially partnered third-party tournaments, which contain badges for the top three placements as well as an additional badge for the winner of certain Twitch chat participation campaigns when applicable. Most of these tournament organizers have ran several tournaments under the same series, meaning for example multiple people hold badges for placing first in separate "Underdogs Cup" tournaments.
Over 525 "Event badges" have been awarded as of February 13th, 2023.[1]
Garbo Gamble Cup

The "Garbo Gamble Cup" was the first partnered TETR.IO tourney, bringing four exclusive badges for the top three players of the tournament, as well as an extra badge for the Twitch user to win the "Gambling Competition". It was announced on June 2, 2020 and took place on June 7, 2020.[35] The tournament featured 132 players,[36] and took place for around five hours. The replay of the tournament can be viewed on garbocan_'s Twitch channel, split up into two parts[20][21]. The first part is spent largely fixing technical issues with the Twitch bot GGC staff utilized. The first match can be viewed nearly twenty-two minutes in[22].
The actual games would take place in two-player custom rooms with default settings. The selected formats were best-of-thirteen (first to seven) and double-elimination. Every player is allowed to lose up to two sets before being fully eliminated.
Over the course of the tournament, a free betting game was played by players in Twitch chat. Every user in Twitch chat would start with 1000 "chips" free of charge, then, when a two-player 1v1 match would begin, players would bet their chips on the winner for either a payout or a loss. The bet chips are multiplied by a variable factor decided by how many chips are bet on the opposing player or the "predicted odds" of a player winning. If the bet is correct, the betted chips are then added directly to that user's chip balance, otherwise the betted chips are lost. If a player ends up "bankrupt" with zero chips, a "Welfare Check" worth 100 chips is payed out to the bankrupt user, allowing them to continue making bets.
The Garbo Gamble Cup was only hosted once. As such, only four badges for this tournament exist, and of those four, one has been destroyed. The top three and the gambling champion would receive badges as well as prize money, as shown below:

- ajanba: 619.93$ in cash, as well as the First Place badge for the tournament. Later on, ajanba deleted his account, thus deleting the GGC #1 badge as well. However, the badge graphic is still hosted on TETR.IO[23].
- rideris: 247.90$ in cash, as well as the Second Place badge for the tournament. The badge can be viewed on their userpage[24].
- qmk: 123.98$ in cash, as well as the Third Place badge for the tournament. The badge can be viewed on their userpage[25].
- realkokon: 175$ in cash (originally 247.90$, although he declined the full sum and left 72.90$ to Garbo) and the Gambling Champion badge. The badge can be viewed on his userpage[26]
realkokon is user Caboozled_Pie's father, and had passed the badge to his son for a short period of time after the tournament ended. Days later, realkokon made an ingame account named "KOKON" and the badge was transferred back to KOKON due to him being the original winner.
WPL Tetr.io Open

Despite predating the Garbo Gamble Cup, with WPL Tetr.io Open being established on April 12, 2020, it wouldn't receive special badges for the top three placements until their fifth TETR.IO tournament announced on June 8, 2020,[37] and hosted on June 13.[38]. A recap of the final set played on that tournament is available on the official World Puzzle League YouTube channel[27].
All matches were played in custom 1v1 rooms with most of the stock settings, aside from "Gravity Margin Time" being changed from 7200 to 3600 and "Gravity Increase" changed from 0.00325 to 0.0025 later, being done to mirror Tetra League settings.[38] The tournament was mostly played with the "First To 7" goal, however for the Winners Semifinals, Losers Quarterfinals, and any match played these two it would be a "First To 11" match. This tournament would also be played in a double-elimination format, and featured 174 contestants in total. Of those 174, the top three were:
- ajanba: First Place. ajanba deleted his account after obtaining this badge, thus deleting the badge as well. However, since the WPL is a reoccurring tournament, there are more people with the WPL #1 badge.
- qmk[28]: Second Place.
- KABUTOMUSIAAAAA/gamaover[29], otherwise known as Kazu: Third Place.
Notably, the two badges linked above contain timestamps, whereas other First Place badges from the same organization lack them.
On June 3, 2020, the sixth WPL TETR.IO tourney would be played.[39] A recap of the grand finals can be viewed from the official WPL YouTube channel[30]. It had the same settings as its predecessor played last month. 154 players competed, with the top three being:
- FireStorm[31]: First Place
- qmk[32]: Second Place. As a repeated Second Place win, qmk kept their badge from the last tournament.
- puyodialgao7, otherwise known as Diao: Third Place. This account was also deleted for unknown reasons after the match was played.
Later that month, on June 18, 2020, the seventh WPL Open would be played.[40] It featured the same ruleset as the fifth and sixth tournaments played weeks before. Similarly, a recap of the grand finals can be viewed on WPL's YouTube channel[33]. There were 126 participants, with the top three being:
- FireStorm[34]: First Place. There was no new badge since the placement was repeated.
- cz0402[35]: Second Place
- qmk[36]: Third Place. qmk placed lower than last time, so there was no new badge.
On August 15, 2020, the eighth WPL for TETR.IO would take place.[41] At a glance, this tournament copies the ruleset of the previously defined tournaments, however it includes a direction to turn off the "Scale Garbage Travel Speed" option. At the time, osk was running a test with differing garbage speeds.[42] Later on, osk would remove the feature.[43] The grand finals can be viewed on WPL's YouTube channel[37]. This tournament had 147 contestants, of which the top three were:
- ningcha, credited as Diao again: First Place. This is the second account credited as being "Diao" in the results annoucements that has been deleted.
- cz0402[38]: Second Place. This is the second time cz0402 obtained Second Place, thus a duplicate badge wasn't awarded.
- FireStorm[39]: Third Place. FireStorm already had the first place badge, so no new badges were added.
On September 19, 2020, the ninth WPL would be hosted.[44] The settings were the same as last time, and there's a video recap of the grand finals on WPL's YouTube channel[40]. Out of 150 players, the top three were:
- majimedewanai, credited as Diao again: First place. Diao would again delete this account, removing the exclusive badge attached to it.
- qmk[41]: Second Place. A repeat of the first time qmk got 2nd place many months ago. Their badge is still timestamped from that tourney
- ZeroT: Third Place[42].
Finally, on the October 23, 2020, the 10th, for now at least, the last WPL was hosted.[45] It features one neat addition to the rulebook, imposing a "First To 11 and Win By 2" on the Winners Semifinals and Losers Quarterfinals and on every other match played after. Another recap of the grand finals was uploaded to WPL's YouTube channel[43]. Out of 164 total players, here are your top three:
- cz0402: First Place[44]. This "upgrades" his Second Place badge into a First Place one.
- FireStorm: Second Place[45]. As he already had the First Place badge, no new badge was given out here either.

Hard Drop Open XII

This tourney was the twelfth in the long running "Hard Drop Open" series of tournements which started in July 19th, 2009 as a tournement hosted on the Blockbox fangame.[46] On June the 9th, 2020, the "Hard Drop Open XII" event would be announced via Twitter.[47] It would be another double-elimination tourney hosted on the 20th later that month, featuring entirely default settings and a First To 7 format during the earlier rounds, and a First To 10 format during, and after, the Round 5 upper bracket and Round 7 lower bracket.[48] If you're interested in viewing a recap of the tourney hosted live on Twitch, you can obtain such a thing from Hard Drop's official Twitch channel[46]. A total of 256 players would attend this event. Of them, here are the top three who earned special badges for accomplishing such a feat:
This tournament would also feature a "Special Event", which ended up being a "Super Lobby", such as the ones previously hosted by the same organization on Tetris 99. It was entirely open to the public watching the stream, as the room itself was actually "private" ingame with the direct link and room ID being shared through Twitch chat. 168 players would join the room, but due to server constraints and no optimised system in place for such huge rooms, 42 people would disconnect before the game even started leaving 126 players to battle it out. Of them, jason0107 would win the room alongside a cash prize of 100$. There was a badge graphic created for winning this room and it was touted as a possible reward for winning on the Hard Drop Discord server, but it was never added to jason0107's TETR.IO profile due to an oversight from either Blink, the founder of Hard Drop, or osk, the guy in charge of adding the badge in the first place. A replay of this special lobby can be found on the same VOD as the tourney itself, six hours and twenty-five minutes in[50].
Infinite Finesse
The first Infinite Finesse tournament to give out badges was Infinite Finesse IV (also known as Infinite Finesse: Passthrough, or just IFT (tournament)) on October 17, 2021, the fourth tournament in a running series of tournaments by Nysdey and Keshy. The Infinite Finesse tournaments mainly feature various gimmicks or formats other than the standard 1v1, such as teams formats or joining a team to give one side in Grand Finals an advantage by a score handicap.
Super Streamer Lobby
The Super Streamer Lobby badge was obtained by winning once in the lobby. Same event that took place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 on wyliecanttwitch's Twitch channel being this host it was an event where he what was sought was to bring together the community of Tetrio creators. The Wumbo player was the first to obtain this badge.
Santa Lobby
The Santa Lobby badge was obtained by winning a game once. This event took place on Saturday, December 23, 2023 on the HardDrop Twitch channel, hosting blink, a Christmas event to share the magic of Christmas. The Gyozan player was the first to obtain this badge.
