Tetris by My Arcade are two versions of the game for various different device form factors, released on October 1, 2023.[1]

Gameplay

The game seems to be based on Tetris (Retro-Bit Go Retro! Portable), an earlier 8-bit version of Tetris developed by Shiru.

While the game appears to follow the guideline, in most aspects it does not. Pieces do not wall kick, nor do they fully follow SRS base rotations and has no 7-bag randomizer. It does however have a ghost piece, hold (16-bit only), piece preview, levels, scoring, etc.

There is only one gamemode, marathon. The player can choose to start from level 1-15. The handicap setting sets the number of garbage lines the game starts with. A setting of 0, 3, 6, 9, or 12 can be selected. The ghost piece can be toggled on or off.

There is no move reset, but seemingly a small amount of lock delay.

My Arcade Tetris' rotation system.

Most pieces appear in the rows 20 and 21, the I-piece appears in row 19, and the O-piece in rows 19 and 20.

8-bit version

There is a 1-piece preview, and no hold.

16-bit version

The 16-bit version has a 3-piece preview, and hold.

Devices

The two devices that include the 8-bit version are the Gamer V, a horizontal layout handheld device, and the Go Gamer, and vertical layout handheld device. The 16-bit version is included on the Mirco Player Pro, a mini arcade cabinet, and the Pocket Player Pro, a horizontal layout handheld device.
