Mino

"Not used in Tetriswiki prose due to the similarity to Minos, the name of the Cretan king who judges the dead in Greek mythology, and to minnow, the common name for the fish P. phoxinus." Is this necessary or even valid? I mean as far as I know the only reason the word is hardly ever used is because the Tetris Worlds' Mino creatures are hardly ever referred to in the first place, not because of any similarity to some unrelated nouns. -- 59.87.132.88

Apparently individual blocks are called "Minos" in the guideline. A purported BPS employee wrote "block, standardly known as a Mino". --Tepples 14:57, 19 December 2006 (EST)
Yeah, mino never really caught on. Though, it's reasonable we don't use the term in the same sense we don't use tetrimino. 209.205.149.91 15:54, 19 December 2006 (EST)
