Tetris Beat is an upcoming Tetris game for Apple Arcade that uses music rhythm as a game mechanic.[1] The game supports game controllers, and is available on Apple devices with Apple Arcade.

Gameplay

Modes

Each mode has 3 difficulty levels. Players compete on a per song leaderboard.

  • DROP: The player rotates and drops pieces in sync with the beat of the music.
  • TAP: The game shows various placement options to the player, and the player must tap one to place the piece and do it in rhythm with the beat.
  • MARATHON: Regular Tetris with Tetris Beat's soundtrack.

The Apple TV version of the game also features a split screen versus mode.

Soundtrack

At launch the game will feature 18 songs, and promises new songs every month.
