I recently purchased a "PlayTV Legends Family Tetris" game, which is a direct-to-TV unit distributed by Radica Games. The game ships with two gamepad-style controllers which hold four "AA" batteries, and connects directly to a standard television via the television's audio/video composite inputs. Quite a fun game, although the graphics are very "cartoonish".
Anyhow, my all-time favorite version of Tetris is Spectrum Holobyte's "Tetris Classic" for PC (DOS). Developed by Sphere and released in 1992, this was the first version of Tetris that I had ever played (and I still play it, even today... long live DOS!).
P.S. Watch this space... Coming soon: updates for many of the skins, my Stereo Sound Effects Pack, as well as my LockJaw Skin and Setup Selector Utility for compatibility and the new features of Lockjaw v0.38!

ASCII 157 - "Tetrisized" version of the "official" ¥Weeds¥ logo!
What is "¥Weeds¥", you ask? Below is the "official" history of "¥Weeds¥":
Unlike what many may think, this came about from my country music band days, sort of a stage nickname of "TumbleWeeds".
I also used to do a LOT of camping out in Big Cypress Swamp out in the Everglades of South Florida (Weeds LOVES the swamp!), and over the course of time "TumbleWeeds" was shortened to simply "Weeds".
I first got into computers back in 1978, and (a few years later) was looking for a suitable signature to use for message posts on some of the various local BBSs that I used to frequent. After searching through some ASCII tables, the "¥" character (ASCII 157 in DOS) looked pretty close to me to the "official" Weeds logo - see the original painted logo on the old ¥Weeds¥ camping-gear box in this photo.
Heh, many years later, I discovered that the "¥" character was the symbol for Japanese currency.
Anyhow, all of the above finally developed into "Rich ¥Weeds¥ Nagel", which I still currently use today as an online signature (and even hold a few copyrights with).
