S and Z starts often require a player to later use a slide, which may slow him down. A player may avoid the need to slide by manipulating the S and Z differently. He can do this while still only clearing tetrises.
The game deals the player the dreaded S and Z tetrominoes to start things off.
The player then platforms a tetris over them, making sure not to stack too much over underlying holes.
He may then proceed to play as normal.
