Tetris Burst was a browser-based gambling game available at Worldwinner.

Gameplay

Tetris Burst uses the standard Guideline ruleset, and one sole mode was available: Ultra. The game uses either mouse or keyboard controls.
The goal is to score as many points as possible within a 3-minute limit. There are also three items available for usage during gameplay. These can be activated by filling up a meter at the left side of the playfield and clicking on (or pressing a corresponding key for) one of the icons once the meter reaches their mark. After an item is used, the meter is reset and the player must fill it up again to use another item.

The items are the following:

  • Juice Wave – clears the 4 bottom rows and rewards 1,200 points
  • Double Up – multiplies your score by two for 10 seconds
  • Mino Shower – drops a large amount of Minos on the playfield to clear all lines then rewards 6,600 points

Additionally, the player can also compete for online tournaments. Tetris Burst uses asynchronous gameplay to match the player against 5 previous replays of a similar skill level. If the player has beat the score of all 5 replays, then he/she will win a particular amount of cash. The site also limits the amount of games a player could make within a 24-hour period.
