Elektronorgtechnica, also spelled Electronorgtechnica and abbreviated Elorg, was the Soviet Ministry of Software and Hardware Export that handled the initial licensing of Tetris.
The company also helped with the export of the Electronika, a Soviet brand calculator [1].
After the end of the Soviet Union, Elorg became a privatised Russian company which, until 2005, retained the rights to the Tetris trademark. Elorg was bought out by The Tetris Company partners Alexey Pajitnov and Henk Rogers.
