Quadrapassel (formerly Gnometris) is a tetromino game for Linux. It was formerly included in the gnome-games package, before being split into its own package.
Gameplay notes
- One rotation button, player can choose which direction it rotates. Rotation has no wall kicks.
- Ghost piece is present as an option.
- Number of pre-filled rows and density of pre-filled rows can be configured.
- Has a "pick difficult block" option, which implements a Bastet-like algorithm for piece generation.
Scoring
Scoring is based on the Nintendo system but with one addition: a bonus for clearing the bottom row. This bonus is 10000 * level (over 8 times the score for a Tetris).
